Join us for a fun, hands-on adventure to the river! We'll take a short walk from the library to explore the sights, sounds, and wildlife of our local river ecosystem. Young explorers will become "River Detectives" as they search for birds, insects, plants, and other clues that reveal what makes a river healthy. Through simple activities and observation, children will discover how rivers support wildlife and learn easy ways we can all help protect these special places.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Adult caregivers are welcome to join the walk. Appropriate for children ages 6 to 12 years.
